John Clark Baker is a visual artist from Lexington, Kentucky. A lifelong artist, he began formally studying visual art at age 9 at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts. In 2013, he received a Scholastic Gold Key for his oil painting, “Down the Drain,” and in 2019, he began creating photorealistic colored pencil pet portraits by commission. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2022 with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Now based in New York City, his work spans from detailed portraiture, vibrant oil paintings, to innovative graphic designs.
